2018 began with a desire of renewal. Of creative energy, of ideas for the new year and of turning my jewelry studio into a space that truly represents me and my work. I had fallen in love with Farrow&Ball’s color called „Red Earth“ as it reminded me of the American Southwest, Adobe dwellings and sun. I was envisioning a space that made you feel warm and at home. That had green plants and all my vintage treasures displayed nicely and ready at hand when needed for styling my jewelry photographs. My bright green work table comes from Greece and is the table our family had gathered around for decades in our summer house. A couple of years ago there was talk about the old house the table was in to be demolished to make place for a new building. Knowing that nobody really valued the table where it was, I asked for it to be somehow taken to Germany where it has been since! The new wall paint contrasts beautifully with the bright green and the picture frames I’ve collected over the years.
